Bismarck J. Rewane
Managing Director
  Bismarck J. Rewane, an Economist, trained at the University of Ibadan and commenced his banking career at Barclays Bank International in the United Kingdom, where he participated in the graduate training programme for Economists at the University of West London. An associated member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of England and Wales, Rewane worked at the First National Bank of Chicago and Nigeria which later became International Merchant Bank Plc. He later became General Manager and head of Treasury Department and retired as Head of Corporate Finance. Rewane has attended several extensive programmes in strategic management at the IMD Institute of Finance at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford and First Chicago’s Joint Strategic Programme run by Harvard Business School.

Rewane has worked with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), International Monetary Fund, in the design and implementation of deregulated foreign currency auction market. He is currently on the Board of First City Group, Guinness Nigeria PLC, Modant Marine Nigeria Limited, Top Feeds Nigeria Limited, First City Monument Bank PLC, amongst many others.  He served on various committees such as the Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) Committee review of capital structures and processes, but most recently the presidential steering committee on global financial and economic crisis.
